Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox is a Scottish born and bred singer. She was born on 25, December, 1954 in Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox are her parents. Lennox took classes in piano, flute and harpsichord at the Royal Academy of Music London for three years throughout the 1970s. She was able to survive on a student stipend and did part-time jobs to supplement her budget. When she was at the Royal Academy Lennox was dissatisfied with her skill in comparison to her fellow students and was contemplating a different direction she would take. Lennox was a part of a group known as Dragons Playground as the flute player in 1976. The group did not get to compete in the talent competition New Faces on I.T.V. The singer was lead vocalist to The Tourists (a British popband) between 1977 and 1980. This is where she first came across Dave Stewart with whom she will form her pop group Eurythmics. Lennox was later able to record her debut solo album Diva. This was released in the year 1992. Both commercially as well as critically, it was an enormous hit. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album came out in the month of October, 2014. The C.D. Lennox chose her favourite blues and soul tracks. In addition in May 2019 Lennox has released Lepidoptera an album comprising four tracks improvised by piano. The E.P. Her first album, Now I Letting You Go... was released as the perfect accompaniment to her work of work in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. Annie Lennox was born in 1954 on 25 December. She is a philanthropist, activist, and singer. The Tourists had a minor popularity in the latter part of the 1970s. Lennox and Dave Stewart, a fellow musician, went on to become famous internationally in the 1980s as the Eurythmics. Lennox's 1992 debut album Diva was a huge success, featuring a variety of songs like Why, the World is Broken Glass. Medusa is the album she recorded as her first studio album in 1995. The album features covers of some songs, including No MoreI Love Yous and The Whiter Shade of Pale. She is credited with the release of six studio albums on her own as well as a compilation.
