Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy was born in the United States. Her first film role was in Bad Boys (1983). Then she became part of the Brat Pack and then went on to star in WarGames The Breakfast Club and Short Circuit. For her performance of Lisa Cholodenko's High Art Sheedy won the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead. Sheedy got married to David Lansbury (the nephew of Angela Lansbury) on April 12,1992.
